Memphis' Climate

The climate in Memphis is humid subtropical, but Memphis enjoys all four seasons. Averaging nearly 55 inches of rainfall per year, Memphis also receives about 5 inches of snow.

Due to its geographic location, weather in Memphis may be a bit unpredictable with thunderstorms, varying humidity levels, and ice storms thrown into the mix.

Summer average highs are in the 90s, with winter highs being in the upper 40s. Spring and autumn temps are generally quite pleasant, although it typically takes until November to feel like fall has truly arrived.
